Charming is surely the word that best describes Villa Casa Odile. Surrounded by a delightful garden full of lemon and orange trees and with pretty bougainvillea draping over the villa’s stone arches. The villa is situated in Cala San Vicente in the north of Mallorca. With fine views of the mountains and picturesque Mallorcan countryside, the good news is that the property lies just 7 minutes walk from the sheltered, cove-like beaches and the turquoise waters of the Med.And what a lovely pool it is. Approximately 8m x 5m in size, and 1.9m in depth. Roman steps make for easy access. In the evenings, the pool’s underwater lighting casts an ethereal glow on the surroundings. Perfect for a few drinks as the sun goes down. The interior of Casa Odile is just as impressive. As a thoroughly modernised Mallorcan villa, you’ll find the fittings and furnishings tick all the right boxes: white walls, wooden roof beams, cosy sofas and lounge chairs large windows allowing the soft Mediterranean light to flood in. The attractively beamed living/dining area opens up through wooden shuttered doors to a delightfully spacious covered sun terrace providing just the right amount of sun and shade. Ideal for an al fresco meal or an evening barbecue with the family. The main living space is gorgeous: terracotta floor tiles, cosy sofas and cushions, large, light filled windows. There’s a flat screen TV and wi-fi throughout so you can keep in touch with friends and family. The kitchen is bright and light and fully equipped with all the latest mod cons including a large American-style fridge/freezer and a walk-in larder. All on the same level leading off from the central corridor there are three lovely double bedrooms sharing two bathrooms, one with bath and shower and the other with a single shower. We went to Mallorca with 6 adults and really loved staying at this villa, it was the perfect base for our vacation.Obviously the swimming pool is a major plus, we loved spending time in and around the pool and on the patio. The pool jets are on every morning so the pool will stay clean which is a big plus. Chilling on the patio was also great, plenty of place to sit comfortably in the shade for when the sun becomes a bit too hot and you're too tired to go for a swim. Also the location is great, there's two small beaches at walking distance and plenty of places to eat at walking distance. Don't forget to make a reservation beforehand though as they are usually all quite busy :) Communication with Josep was great as well, he's super helpful and always quick to respond. He left us the keys in a keybox so it was super easy to get in and out. Something that might improve the stay but didn't bother us much is if things in the house were secured a bit better. There were
